STRESS: we all fight it, and it is the main cause of all sickness. Stress begins in the mind through worry, doubt, and fear. Titaliation is the natural human instinct to mask this enemy. This includes anything that satisfies the flesh: drugs, alcohol, sexual promiscuity, over indulgence of any kind: eating, shopping etc.
Recharge is the Pillar we use to relieve the mind of stress. When we take the time on purpose and in moderation, through healthy and wholesome activities to relax and enjoy life, our minds function at a much higher capacity.
The Recharge Pillar is the most enjoyable Pillar to work, but one that gets most neglected. This Lent I am inviting you to choose from the list below or come up with your own “activity” where you relax and enjoy life ON PURPOSE. This is personal; therefore, what may be a Recharge activity for one may not be the case for another.
